Pest snails can be beneficial to your aquarium by feeding on the algae in your tank, but when they over populate they can become a big nuisance. Keeping these snails population under control can be easier than you might think.

Ramshorn snails Mini ramshorn snails Bladder snails Pond snails Malaysian trumpet snails (MTS) Setting snail traps, adding assassin snails or loaches to your aquarium, or cutting back on fish food can help to keep your snail population under control.
